"Jetta, squeak, rattle and roll"

Pros: Feels solid, excellent materials, nice handling, mechanically reliable, nice low end torque, good brakes.

Cons: Poor fuel economy, many interior noises (rattles, squeaks), engine underpowered, high purchase price.

Pros: Heated seats great, mileage terrific. Easy to park and maneuvre.

"Fun car, bad reliability"

Pros: Fun car to drive. Handles well. Controls well-positioned. Comfortable.

Cons: Unreliable. Mass airflow sensor problems. Peeling plastic interior. Radio quit. Crappy cup holder.

Bought this car used and wish I hadn't. Love the handling and look, but am afraid it will cost a fortune in problems. Buy this one new, not used.
